For the second year in a row, Riverside Unified School District (RUSD) has been recognized at the state level for its high academic performance and commitment to closing achievement gaps, earning a spot on the Educational Results Partnership’s (ERP) prestigious 2025 California Honor Roll Districts list.

Along with Riverside Unified’s recognition, 12 district schools made ERP’s 2025 California Honor Roll Schools list, which honors schools for consistently high levels of student achievement, improvement over time, and a reduction in achievement gaps among student populations. 

The Riverside Unified School District (RUSD) Foundation honored the inaugural recipients of the Tom Hunt Memorial Scholarship Fund, distributing a total of $9,000 to nine Career and Technical Education (CTE) students. 

The scholarship was established to honor the life and enduring legacy of Tom Hunt, a devoted advocate for vocational skills and hands-on learning. This first-ever distribution fulfills the Foundation’s core mission to invest directly in the next generation of skilled trades professionals and technical experts.

Congratulations to all of the school that were named community favorites in 2025, as well as to the district for being voted the Readers' Choice #1 Best School District of the Inland Empire!
